Are Candy's feelings understandable? Have you ever felt very attached to an old or sick animal that had to be put to sleep? Explain your feelings.
Yes, i have been attached to a dog, his head got hit by a car while I was in school, when i came home i asked my parents where he was and they he was at the vet, they said he was "sleeping" at that he probably wasn't going to wake up, i asked to see him one more time but they refused. The next few days the house felt empty without him, I knew him since I was born, and I was very attached to him.
Why does Candy say later on that he should have shot his dog himself and not let a stranger do it?
Candy was the one who loved him the most, and if someone had to kill him for his good it should have been him.
